JPSDP runs a program in the slums across Pune, to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and other STDs. A team of JPSDP members circulates from door to door in the slums of Pune, spreading basic knowledge about STDs. This project brings sexual education to the home. Slum dwellers can then access important information about STDs. This basic program helps decrease stigma around HIV/AIDS and refer as many people as possible to STD testing facilities.
