The partner agencies expect initial stages of this operation will take a few weeks to ensure that all residents have been contacted.All of the information gathered will then be reviewed before deciding what action is necessary. The range of options available to the council and police to deal with those individuals found responsible include criminal charges, Acceptable Behaviour Contracts, Anti Social Behaviour Orders and even eviction of council tenants.As part of the operation, practical measures to improve the area will be taken including increased litter picking and graffiti removal.
